Visiting Prince Edward County for the Victoria Day long weekend, I was looking forward to getting out on the trails. The Saturday BBCo. club ride is Rick’s fast/long mountain-bike ride. Throwing a leg over my Brodie, Stella, I joined Rick and Timothy as we took the road to the Macauley Mountain[not really a mountain] trailhead. We rode the trails for about 30mins before checkin’ in at the parking lot in case any others would be joining us.

After a quick snack the three of us were back on the trails. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon with the temperature about 20C[70F] and no wind. Riding the Bunny Snake Trail, we three reminisced about my crash on that same trail a couple of years ago. Not a moment later do I hear Timothy calling that he needs us to inspect his eye. With Timothy’s vision unimpeded, we went back to the trails for about an hour’s worth of tight twisty single-track in the woods. Yup, just another day on the bike!
