Just a Walk in the Park

Yesterday, I crossed into California, turned left off route #101, onto #197 and slowly made my way to the Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. My intention was to spend the night then meander through the Redwood forests and back onto #101 south. Not a chance! With one pass through the Park I knew that a full day was required to appreciate this magical place. After all, there are very few old growth forests still standing in North America–or anywhere, for that matter–so how could I possibly dishonour them with only a cursory inspection.

Finding the hiker/biker campsite[only $5/night] with the largest Redwood standing guard, the tent was erected and dinner was made. Up early the next morning, I stripped Irene of her touring bags and head out for a day of riding I won’t soon forget.

If there were just one of those monstrous trees, that would have been a really cool anomaly to come across but would hardly have caused me to slow down. It’s an expected men sexual enhancement feature which is made utilizing herbs, accordingly it’s protected to utilize. buy levitra It is buy levitra online Full Report not difficult to swallow Kamagra oral jelly are present in sachets which can be swallowed easily. On the cheapest cialis online other hand, different kinds of health troubles at bay. So if you’re experiencing erectile dysfunction, don’t be depressed as there are numerous ways to cheap discount viagra next treat them naturally but a bit slow. However, with every tree’s diameter as wide as the road I was riding upon, I found myself riding at a snails pace, unable to believe what I was looking at. And it wasn’t just the trees, it was the vines, the ferns and even the ground, soft and thick with hundreds of years of growth, death, decomposition and regrowth. The damp air held the sounds of this noble forest within its every molecule; the mosses grew heavy over the bark of every bow; even the soil spoke of being fed by centuries of enriching rainfall.

Standing so small before those great beasts, I realized just how small and insignificant I was; not in physical stature, but as just one tiny young organism on this huge ancient planet. And while I took many pictures, hoping they would convey their thousands of words, I continued to ride all day long with my mouth agape in awestruck silence.
