Your Story; Kimberly Kerschke

One of the most striking features about cyclists [apart from great legs and ferocious appetites] is that we are a passionate bunch.  We are passionate about our choice in bicycles, about the routes or trails we ride, about the social/environmental benefits of cycling or about the sheer joy the self-propelled freedom our bikes affords us.  The smiles we wear deny the possibility of apathy, disinterest or boredom.  Yet even among our clan there are those whose passion stands out, who exude an infectious enthusiasm for the bike.  Today I’d like to introduce you to one of those.  This is Kimberly Kerschke and this is her story.

In general, the problem is categorized as sexual inability to have or maintain healthy erection levitra on line that lasts for the duration of intercourse. Since meeting Kimberly about a year ago, I’ve had the very distinct pleasure of joining her on many rides, over countless miles and in some truly remarkable settings.  Short rides, long rides; easy rides, difficult rides; day-time epics, night-time jaunts and multi-day bike-packing trips.  In every case, there is one constant; the huge smile Kimberly wears.  Pushing her bike up the most gruelling high-elevation passes or bombing down the other side; shredding over fast flowy single-track or carefully negotiating super-technical rocky sections, Kimberly’s smile is ever-present.  Regardless of the terrain, her war-cry can be heard; “that was AWESOME!”
Relatively new to the sport of mountain-biking–she got her first fat-tire bicycle about five or six years ago–she’s certainly no novice when it comes to the challenges and rewards of the great outdoors.  Once an avid trail-runner, Kimberly is widely-known as one heck of a skilled back-country skier.  Once she was turned onto the bike, her enthusiasm continued to bubble-over.

Today it’s very difficult to get her off the bike.  All she wants to do is ride and ride and ride.  To that end, bike-packing was a natural progression for her; now she rides day after day, camping high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, ready to ride again the next morning.  Only once have I seen a frown on her face; we missed a section of single-track after we’d already ridden our bikes for about eight hours.

Kimberly’s genuine enthusiasm motivates not just her and her friends to ride, but so many more.  She coaches the local high-school mountain-bike team and every Friday can be found teaching little kids to ride their mountain bikes.  If ever there has been a high-spirited, life-loving advocate for our sport, Kimberly is it.
